Today is the 22nd day of September.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian.

And here we are again. walking through the threshold of a brand new sparkly shiny, weak,

and once again experiencing a reset, if we'll take it and a reminder this is going to be a week and it's

going to have its challenges and it's going to have its high points and we're

going to live it and as we live it we're going to be telling the story of our life and we get to choose how that goes because that's how our life

goes. It's made up of our thoughts, our words and our deeds and we have choices and all of those things and so let's

remind ourselves it's all in front of us, it's new. We can wreck it, we can ruin it, we can

end up at the bottom, by the end of this week. But we can keep steady moving forward, learning, allowing the scriptures

to actually penetrate and do the work that they do by challenging just about everything about us.

So let's do that because that will lead us on the narrow path that leads to life if we will listen open our eyes open our ears and actually live the

truth so it's great to be here with you today as we greet this brand new week in the

scriptures we're working our way through that the book of Isaiah at this point

We'll read from the new revised standard version this week

Isaiah chapter 39 verse 1 through 41 verse 16.

At that time, King Moradak Biladin, son of Biladin of Babylon, sent envoys with letters

and a present to Hezakaya, for he had heard that he had been sick and had recovered. Hezakaya welcomed them.

He showed them his treasure house, the silver, the gold, the spices, the precious oil,

his whole armory, all that was found in his storehouses.

It was nothing in his house or in all his realm that Hezakaya did not show them.
