Today is the 15th day of September. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is wonderful,

as always to be here with you. it's especially wonderful as we all together

through open the threshold and step into this brand new shiny, sparkly week.

A fresh start again.

Here at the center of this ninth month of the year, day 259. In the Old Testament we are working our way through the Book of

Isaiah. In the New Testament we have just launched ourselves into Paul's letter to the Galatians.

So there's a lot out in front of us this week.

And the Bible continues to speak loud and clear if we have eyes to see and

ears to hear if we begin to understand that this is about our transformation

and not about our information, that it looks deep inside of us and invites

us to do the same. So, wow, we have this gift.

I'm excited to see where it goes this week.

We'll read from the Christian Standard Bible this week.

Picking up where we left off yesterday, Isaiah, chapters 19, 20, and 21. A pronouncement concerning Egypt.

Look, the Lord rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt.

Egypt's worthless idols will tremble before him and Egypt will lose heart.

I will provoke Egyptians against Egyptians, each will fight against his brother and each

against his friend, city against city, Kingdom, Kingdom.

Egypt's spirit will be disturbed within it,

and I will frustrate its plans.

Then they will inquire of the worthless idols,

ghosts, mediums, and spiritists.
