I'm thrilled to welcome my Golden Globe winner, a Tony nominee, who she's a Golden Globe

winner, of course, for her work in Alexander Payne's holdovers.

My guest is Devine Joy Randolph.

I've seen her on Broadway.

I was interested in seeing what you're going to do with Otomai and Ghost.

And you just sort of came in and took the stage in this completely unselfconscious way.

And so when you got inhabited, it was like, wow.

Because, you know, you've done this.

You play characters that we've seen before.

You did Lady Read and Dolomite is my name and then doing a domain ghost.

I wonder what it was like for you taking on these characters that people think that they know.

I'm very physical.

Someone like Martin Lawrence and what he contributed in the canon of the Martin show,

that kind of full body, full involvement of the space is something that I really connect with

or another person in comedy that I can

think of of like a Jack Black, which is what it was something that was really fun for me,

in particular for high fidelity. In regards to expectations, I will say this. I have a certain

standard, a mode of proficiency and work ethic in which I derive from

at all times. And that's me trying to bring the best quality, no matter what the role is,
