D-Day is a bittersweet day to remember, 80 years after the fact. Mostly because America is the a nation that would NOT accomplish such an operation today. And today is a day to remind a nation that put on bandanas and hide at home that 18-20 yr old young men ran through machine gun fire and artillery because they believed in something worth dying for.
