1:13.0	We illuminate them. We defend them. And today, we're fortunate to look at the time period of 1841 to
1:19.3	1842. This is when sections 125, 126, 127, 128 are congregated. But I want to look at the historical background for the Relief Society.
1:32.4	This is a wonderful time in the spring of 1842 when Joseph felt inspired to organize the women.
1:40.2	As usual, I have a handout attached to my slides, and I want to start with a few hard questions.
1:46.4	First of all, did Joseph really ordain Emma, as he said?
1:51.2	And did Joseph direct the Relief Society members to use oil to administer to the sick?
1:57.1	Why did the women stop administering to the sick?
2:00.3	And why did the Relief Society stop holding their formal meetings?
2:03.6	I hope to go over each of these and many more in this very exciting period of history.
