For decades, D.A. Carson has stood as a pillar of evangelical scholarship.

A renowned Bible scholar and commentator who's written more books on the Bible and theology than most of us will ever read,

Carson worked for decades as professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and currently serves as the president

of the Evangelical Theological Society. But despite his work in the academy, Carson has never

lost his love for God's people and has devoted much time and thought to strengthening the church

in our day through ministries like the Gospel Coalition, which he co-founded with Tim Keller.

In my interview today, I sit down with Don to talk about his life and ministry,

how God led him to the academy, the original vision behind TGC,

and what it looks like to pursue simple faithfulness before God at this stage in his life.

Don is the author or editor of nearly 200 books,

including letters along the way

from a senior saint to a junior saint,

which he co-wrote with John Woodbridge.
