General William T. Sherman, he served in the Union Army. He watched the horrors of the Civil War firsthand.

You may not know his name, but Sherman's known for gathering 100,000 troops, destroying Atlanta,

and just devastating Georgia.

He told his men that war is long and it's bloody.

I am tired and sick of war.

It's glory and all its moonshine.

It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Historians are now calling Sherman an architect of modern warfare.

Many of the tactics he developed in the 1880s

during the Civil War, they're still in use today. But many things have changed since then,

the weapons, the uniforms, and even the battlefield. In today's modern war, there are no bullets,

no bombs, no bloodshed, and not even an enemy you can identify.

Why?

It's called a cyber war.

A cyber war is to intrude, disrupt, and or destroy by the use of computer networks and data over the worldwide web to affect a specific intended outcome.

Right now, the United States is under attack. And what makes this cyber war even scarier is that nobody knows exactly where some of the attacks are originating.

Sure, you have Russia, China, and North Korea, they're always on the radar.

But there are other enemies floating around in cyberspace.

Think of them as pirates in the open ocean ready to strike at any moment.

No one knows who they are, who their targets are, or when they're going to strike.
