Everybody today we're going to talk about cutting the cord. I have been having a hard time with that because now I'm like an empty

nester. Yes, you are. I have to cut the cord. Oh, I hate that expression. I'm sorry. I remember when your kids were anybody like when

Josh and Paige and Brooklyn sleep over on the weekends. Yeah. And we would all they would all sleep together.

All the kids now they're all big. I mean, that's life. They've grown up. But you're right. When you're a new mom, it's hard to

imagine all the stages of their life when they get teeth, when they walk, when they go to school, when they graduate, when they get

me. I mean, there's all these stages and each one you kind of have to suck it up and cut the cord and move on to the next day.

Yeah. But you say every time I hear that, I'm going to think of that. It's disgusting.

Sorry. That's what came to mind. But I like the fact you said you just want your kids happy and I do too. But it's really hard letting go.

I mean, my kids are 16 and 17, but your daughters, you know, don't live with you anymore. Your older daughters.

Yeah. And you said two of them graduated college and are becoming adults.

I don't know if I have such a hard time with it because I never really worked as they were growing up.

So every single thing my kids did was my life. That was my 100% I put into was my kids. And now that they're old and they don't need me and they're cutting that cord.

I feel like they took away my identity. They don't need me anymore. Like that's what I was. I was your mom. And now you don't need me anymore.
