And what I would say is the more you're able to invest in who the person is over what the person does, the better the work that person's going to deliver.

Now I do not learn about their family and their dreams and their aspirations and I do not mentor people just for funzies. I do it because I really want to see someone accelerate. I want more for them than from them.

I don't do but to manipulently get something better out of them.

I just know I will get something better from them.

Because when you set people up to do their best work in their best truest way,

everybody wins.
