On the morning of April 12, 1981, 14-year-old Sheila Sharp returned from a sleepover to her

family's home in the Northern California Mountain Resort community of Kedi.

Inside Cabin 28, Sheila found the bodies of her mother, Sue, her 15-year-old brother,

Johnny, and Johnny's 17-year-old friend, Dana Wingate.

All tied up, beaten, and brutally murdered.

Sheila's 12-year-old sister, Tina, was also missing, but her much younger brothers,

Greg and Rick and their friend Justin Smart, were asleep in a bedroom, totally unharmed,

and unaware of what had happened.
