summer. Everything seems to have slowed down, including the news cycle, but when it

comes to the new cycle, I fear it is the calm before the storm. This isn't yet the slow July and August. This is still early

mid-June. I feel we are in the calm before the storm before, for example, the

Supreme Court is set to release its opinion on Roe v. Wade and that will not

only potentially up upend jurisprudence for the better part of half a century,

but it could up in civil discourse and civil obedience in this country for the coming weeks. But for now it's slow. You know, one of the things

I like to do, or at least convince myself that I will do in the summer is expand my horizons.
