Hi friends, it's Sally Clarkson. Welcome to Add Home with Sally and friends. You are my

friends today that I'm here with. Hopefully you're listening to this on a Monday, at least

if you heard it when it first came out. And I have been going on through one of my books

called Ten Gifts of Heart. What your child needs to take to heart before leaving home.

And so as I start out today, we're going to be talking, it's going to be the second part

of how in the world do we help our children take faith from our home. And I want to just

talk a little bit about that today because as I mentioned last week and I continue to see

this, faith isn't just indoctrination. It's not just telling you have to believe this.

This is what all the experts say because none of the experts agree on what theology is.

There are I think 144,000 denominations all who think they got it right. And so as we

pass on faith to our children, we have to really understand what is it that God had on

his mind. And as we talk about it in our book, what your child needs to take to heart.

According to the truth, the the pendability of God, they're learning about how to view

the world, learning how to view human beings, learning that the God who designed them

cared very dearly for their personality, their fingerprints, that he had a place for

them to serve to be. And so I'm going to talk just a little bit today, of course in

one chapter we can't do everything justice. But I wanted to introduce today a quotation
