God can't do anything with you if you can't surrender because you're in the way.

You know for me, I was so lost, I was so hurt, I hurt so many people.

My whole life I didn't know how to not hurt people.

I remember the first time I stole, I was just a little tiny kid.

And I remember it, my mom was in the store.

And I saw this little, one of those little rubber things you put on your finger.

It's like one of those things and I saw it, I wanted it.

So I put it in my pocket.

Well the lady at the counter saw me put it in my pocket.

But I didn't know that.

And I didn't know it was stealing.

But I sure did after they found it.

But it didn't stop me.

There was something in the quest to get away with stuff that drove me to do more.

And that sounds so weird.

I never really talked about it.

But it was almost like this heightened endorphins state that enabled me to feel better when I could steal from somebody or get away with something.

But what I didn't see is that no matter where I was, no matter how old I was, no matter how young I was.

God saw it all.
