Ladies, today is one of those squeal-worthy episodes. You guys, I have one of my favorite guests back on the show and one that

all of you guys always tell me you are so excited about, and that is Robin Jones Gunn. Now, I know

because a lot of you have told me that she has had just as much of an impact on your upbringing

as she did on mine. I started reading the Christy Miller

novels when I was 12 years old and still read them to this day all through all of the series.

And she has a brand new series out that Christy is involved in, though she's not the central

character, actually a lot of different members of her family are involved in these new Haven Maker

books, which are so good. I'm so excited about. We talk a little bit about how her other family

members are involved in the books in this interview with Robin. Plus, Robin just has so much

wisdom. Whenever I talk with her, she is full of joy and just such terrific guidance and

ideas. And that so comes through in these books. I love that when I read them, because I talk about

in the show, it was kind of a hard read for me at first. And I've come back and I've now read the book.

And I love how much actual life, wisdom,

and advice I get from these fiction books. I felt like I walked away having read a devotional.

I read her books. They make me feel closer to God. They give me wisdom for how to be making

good decisions in my life. And I just think that God has really given

Robin a gift to be able to teach us in this way. So I'm so excited for us to get on with this
