Today is the fifth day in the 10th month in the year of our Lord,

2020.

My name is Sir Roland Paterlot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Roland on Catholic

Sprouts, where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain.

Today we celebrate the feast day of St. Faustina,

a well-known saint of the 20th century. She was from Poland and in 1925 entered the congregation

of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. It was in that combat in 1931 that Jesus appeared to

St. Faustina and gave her the message and the image of divine mercy, asking her to spread the

devotion to his divine mercy to the whole world. Perhaps you have the divine mercy image in your home

somewhere, and you'll notice the simple prayer that goes with the image, Jesus, I trust in you.

St. John Paul II, who was also from Poland, helped pave the way not only for the canonization

of St. Faustina,

but also for the establishment of the Feast of Divine Mercy on the second Sunday of Easter.

St. Faustina, pray for us. So let's continue our series on the phrase,
