0:32.2	Today is the feast day of St. Louis and Zellie Martin, the parents of St.
0:37.4	Cherez. Also the parents of another servant of St. Louis and Zelly Martin, the parents of St. Cherez. Also the parents of another servant
0:40.5	of God, Leone, who was Cherez's sister. But this is a really holy family. The Martins,
0:48.9	Louis and Zelly, were the parents and they had several girls. Now, they lived a very busy and
0:54.1	hectic life. Louis was a
0:56.0	watchmaker. Zelly owned a lace business. Louis later left his career and came to support her in
1:02.8	this lace business, but they had a big family. They had a lot of family obligations,
1:08.6	a community obligations. Zellie's job was very busy. She would get up early
1:13.3	in the morning and continue to be making lace at night. And yet Christ sat at the center of their
1:20.3	lives. They started every day with Mass. They ended every day together with the meal
1:26.9	and with conversations about God.
1:29.5	And let me tell you, they faced many terrible hardships.
1:33.2	They lost three baby boys when they were very tiny.
1:37.1	They lost another daughter when she was young.
1:40.6	Zelly had all sorts of health problems, and in the the end she died of breast cancer when her youngest
1:45.6	was still very, very little. Louis raised the girls mostly on his own after his wife died and at the
