We're going to keep in step with what we've done in the past here on Good Friday

here at Fighting for the Faith. Details in a second. Thank you for

My name is Chris Roseboro.

It is Good Friday, April 3rd, 2015, and we're going to stick with our tradition that we've had here at

fighting for the faith. And the tradition is this, is that I don't play any

heresy or don't do a normal episode of fighting for the faith.

Instead, what I do is I play for you sermons or a sermon that focuses you on Christ

and what he has done to purchase and win you a lost sinner and to

and literally to propitiate the wrath of God and bleed and die and suffer the

wrath of God for your sins and so what we'll be doing today is we'll be listening to a sermon that

I've delivered entitled crucify him. The text that I will be preaching

from is from the Gospel of Mark. It's the passion narrative in both

chapters 14 and 15. And so without any further ado, here is my Good Friday sermon for you entitled crucify him.

The Holy Gospel according to St. Mark chapter 14 verse 1 through chapter 15 verse 47.

Now the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread were only two days away.

And the Chief Priests and the Teachers of the Law were looking for some sly way to arrest Jesus and kill him.

But not during the feast, they said, or the people may riot.
