On critical hit. There he goes. Sam gets a dollar. Good job, Sam.

Last time on critical hit, Rodrigo was running a game for us. This time it's Brian's turn to run a game and Brian, what do you have in store for us this time around?

0:33.0

I figured we'd take another crack at the Sentinel comics role playing game. Since now the full book is out and we can make our own characters and give more of a shake and see how this feels with doing our own thing.

0:48.0

I like this. Now I'll be honest, I don't have the full manual but I was going through some of the other materials that are out there and available online. And I forgot how much fun I had playing this when we were doing the prebuilt starter set.

1:06.0

So I'm kind of excited to see where we're going to go once we create our own characters.

1:11.0

Yeah, me too. I'm interested to see where this goes. I look kind of a character to come up with here.

1:19.0

As this game is somewhat influenced by early superhero role playing games such as a Marvel heroics phase rip system.

1:30.0

There is the option where you can do a semi random character creation. Some people here have gone to characters and made them.

1:41.0

But you can just choose your options as well as you go through. So if you don't want Mike or want to do random there. You have either those methods.

1:50.0

And as far as I'm concerned, you can pretty much dip in and out if you're not quite sure what you want for a step you can roll and see what the dice says and see if that triggers anything in your mind.

1:57.0

Or you know, if you don't like the results, just ignore them and take what you want as far as I'm concerned larger because the instructor method is there.

2:08.0

You can just pick according to that method to make the character so it's close will be the guidelines that will follow.

2:14.0

And what I'm thinking for this game is this will be within the world of modern city but disconnected from that particular story. So if you guys want to hear the continuation of modern city, you know, get that place level up there.

2:34.0

Until then I figured we'd set this I'm the Pacific Northwest and the fictional city I'm thinking the name of ash port.

2:46.0

Okay, ash port.

2:48.0

I'm thinking I probably a little bit higher themed heroics than what we did with modern city that seemed kind of in a trending towards more street level stuff.

2:59.0

So as you're making characters might consider that you know, it might be more in a way of like alien invasions or you know, giant monsters crawling out of the sea to attack the city or you know, bigger.

3:12.0

We had plenty of mad scientists in their adventure modern city to but not like that.

3:18.0

Okay.

3:21.0

Sure.

3:22.0

So yeah, we'll be going through character creation in this particular episode. So generally helps if, well, if you anyone here has an idea of what concept they want for a character, we can do that or if you want to see where the dice take you can.
