Hello everyone, it is Steven Schleiker and before we get into this week's episode, I want

to say thank you to everyone who wrote me emails regarding the parents who didn't want

their child playing tensions and dragons because of it being satanic.

And many of you wrote in with some thoughts and suggestions, Will Bratton wrote in and said,

so I'm sorry to hear about the boy's friend, my parents also have the same look on role-playing

games.

I've talked to them several times about letting me play RPGs, but they just don't budge.

I don't know if it's the whole satanic thing or maybe it's just a stigma of having a son

that plays D&D.

I've played it several times.

I love it.

It's very aggravating.

I'd like to hear if you have any advice on this situation.

You know, the only thing I can say at this point is if your parents don't want you to do

it and you're living in their house, you kind of have to abide by their rules, but as soon

as you get out of the house, you can kind of do what you want.

to convince parents to change their mind, is to play a different game.

For parents who are worried about the use of magic, one option is to use a setting where
