And I like to ask the question because I want to know, are you optimistic? Are you pessimistic about the direction of the team? What's the sticking point for you and trying to figure out, all right, how do I feel about this team?

He's so injury prone. Kyrie Irving's getting older coming off of this ACL. The Mavs cap situation is not good unless they make a trade. The Mavs don't have any draft picks. Their ownership, I don't know if I trust. And I don't know what's going to happen with this new GM.

I think all those things are valid reasons to feel frustrated about the Mavericks.
