Today, we're joined by Father McGilvery to ask one question.

How is it that the church, which is supposed to be indefectible, can give us a right of worship

the Novathorto Mass, which is, at the least, problematic, if not defective?

So we won't be able to answer this question specifically today, since this question

opens up a lot of other questions we need to answer first, namely, how can the church, through

an ecumenical council, Vatican 2, promulgate errors. We saw this a little bit last week,

but we're going to go into some more detail today. Then we'll begin to look at whether or not

the church can be infallible in its disciplinary laws.

That's where liturgy falls.

So we're going to finish today's episode by looking at what theologians say about the infallibility of liturgical discipline.

Then next week, we'll wrap up the conversation by looking at the magistarium of the church, the traditions of the church,

and then briefly touch on the infallibility of canonizations.
