The first Crisis Pregnancy Center was opened in 1967 in response to the ever-growing rise of pro-choice feminism and the future of an abortion-friendly America. As time has gone on, Crisis Pregnancy Centers have become a backbone feature of the pro-life movement. Tricking people into attending by offering “medical advice”, they have become synonymous with spreading misinformation about abortion and working to dismantle it from the inside out. Welcome to the Corporate Casket, a semiweekly series where bad businesses go to die. We will discuss any and everything from bad charities, terrible CEOs, and businesses that have a lot to hide.
