Tim, I watched something last night. What did you watch? I didn't even know it was out until I saw an advertisement. Alien Earth. Oh. That was bad. That perception grill off on that one. That was really that was really let's hear again let's hear again there we go because you don't see the first one we're gonna edit that in post uh you really looked so deep into my eyes as you didn't you didn't that was real bad Alien Earth yeah I watched two episodes came in I only watched the first episode I only watched the first episode oh what a good for us Oh my God, y'all. Alien Earth. Yeah, I watched... Two episodes came out. I only watched the first episode. I only watched the first episode.

Oh, my God, y'all. Holy shit, dude. Alien and Predator, Alien versus Predator in review? Yeah. Oh, my God. Roller coaster of an in-review experience. Alien Earth, if it keeps up this quality... I think I was really hesitant in the first like 20 minutes because it is like a lot of well-worn territory, right? Where it's like, you know, people are on the ship, they all look like the, it's like, we know where this is going. And then they started doing some wild shit where it's like, oh, I've never seen Alien ever do anything like this. The opening titles?, like, kind of just set the stage of what they're dealing with.

I'm like, oh, we are cooking here.

What I love about it is, you know, some of the movies, what I appreciate about the episode one of Alien Earth

is it takes the elements I love most about the good Alien and Predator, or I guess just Alien, Alien movies,

and wraps it in a show. Yeah. most about the good alien and predator, or I guess just alien, alien movies, and, uh,

wraps it in a show, which allows it to breathe a lot more and actually have a plot.

So it's like sci-fi and character and worlds wrapped around a plot that I'm actually interested in. Yes.

Which I feel like plot's not, never the highlight of the alien movies. You know what I mean? Yeah, no, I feel like plot's never the highlight of the alien

movies. You know what I mean? Yeah, no, for sure. It feels like the highlight here. Yes, but it also has those other things. Yes, it does. And I was very, I was shocked how fast we got into seeing an alien. And, like, they actually start showing the glimpses. Like, they know what you're here for. Because, like, when you see the alien Earth as a TV show on FX,

you're like, all right, we're going to see this alien for two seconds.

And, of course, you do see it for two seconds in this episode. But it feels like it's way more because of the stuff that they're building around it. So it's interesting. It's insane to forever. Yeah. FX don't miss. Shout out to Affect.
