interested in real estate investing?

Sure. So I'm originally from Mumbai in India.

I spent my childhood there.

I grew up there.

I moved to New York in 2008 when I came here for grad school at NYU. I spent a few years on Wall Street, working in investment

banking, private equity, moved back home, relocated back to New York, I think in 2009,

fall of 2019, and that's when I started to land with my partner who's also my brother and what got me interested in real estate was I used to invest in our real estate while I was still working just so that I could find an avenue to deploy my capital passively and what got my attention was flipping properties.

So I did a few flips in Jersey in Illinois and you know I just I just really liked how real estate operates. You know, it's it's a hedge against inflation. It's an underlying capital value appreciation. It's

preservation of your capital, but at the same time, you're getting some upside if you're

renting it out to a tenant. And it's always the touch and feel aspect you know something more physical

so that's what really attracted me to real estate and being an investor myself coming from a background in Wall Street, you know, I saw some opportunities, some gaps on how an institution color of capital could make the whole process of lending more affordable and you know it could democratize it to more retail
