I'm Tyler Lori and I'll be joined as always by my

co-host Chris Smalls Angelos. Create Your Shot is a podcast about the journey of

coaching or making it in sports as a player, media member, coach, manager, whatever you want to do.

On today's first inaugural episode, we are joined by T.J. Deckmar, head coach of the Division

2 Goldie Beecom Lightning.

Goldie Beecom is a school in the CACC conference located in Wilmington, Delaware.

We talked to TJ about what it was like to be named one of the NABCs 30 under 30 coaches in America what it was like to be told by

your boss that you were going to be the head basketball coach one week before

practice started we talk about his worst travel experiences as well as the craziest things he's seen on the AAU circuit.

TJ was really good, really great insight for young coaches, but also just for anybody in general who kind of has a dream and they don't know exactly how to

chase it or exactly how they're going to make it work.
