Do Americans really care that much about the queen?

The people who program TV networks seem to think so.

ABC blew at its prime time coverage

for wall-to-wall queen programming this Thursday.

I guess that sounds impressive, but prime time programming,

it's a little like long distance call or Republican party,

greatly diminished in the last 20 years.

When I tell you that the prime time programming

that was to air was Kelly Ripoff's hosting a game show

where grandkids and grandparents compete

called Generation Gap, a whoopee Goldberg-hosted

Dateline NBC ripoff about ripoffs called The Con

and a redo of Pressure Luck.

You'll see what prime time programming really means.

Pressure Luck, I guess the queen's passing proves

that the whammy inevitably comes for us all.
