I want to touch on the Stafford and golf trade and really what I think is the biggest

headline from that.

I want to start today's podcast talking golf and Stafford because there's a bunch of

different headlines that we can get to.

And I'm not saying this, certainly any of them are wrong, but the one that I think is

the most interesting is that the Rams had golf and they wanted to get rid of him.

That's the important thing here.

And that should scare you as a Lions fan.

Let's go back and look at the timeline and all the moving pieces of this.

When golf was first drafted, whether the equity to go up and trade him and it felt like the

Rams, because there was all the stuff that was going on.

The Rams felt like with the move they needed somebody to put on some banners around the

town, even though, you know, LA doesn't really work that way.

They had kind of a franchise guy before even knew whether or not he could play to kind

of sell the idea on the Rams transitioning out to Los Angeles.

That was definitely part of the evaluation.
