Good morning. Dwayne here. Try Creek Rangler School. I want to talk about knives, specifically horseback, you know, how they apply. Farming, ranch, in life.

It's snowing out there today, and I really not in the mood.

I really don't want to talk about heavy stuff.

And I had a lot of requests about this so I thought, you know what, this might be a little bit of fun.

We'll just, we'll do this today.

I'm going to talk about Nye, specifically ranching and horseback and

then however you, however you're going to apply it in your life. Now I want to say first off

that, and I've said this before, I think everyone, especially every male, every man, male that's old enough,

boys should be carrying a knife. All right. Now, I know kids going to school these days. If you

go to public school, you can't. some of you work corporate you work certain jobs

they they won't but where you can i think you should i don't mean like a great big

buoy knife or something but you should you should have something um even if it's just a little tiny, a little tiny pin knife, okay,

stuck in a vest pocket stuck down in. But you should have some kind of little knife. Now,

when you're on a ranch or a farm, if you're riding horseback, it's imperative imperative that you that you carry a knife um i made a

little short video not too long a back we were moving some horses and we got into a situation and

and the horse panicked in the horse trailer and a guy got pinned and he was able to just pull his knife and cut the lead

of horses are panic they're prone to panic okay their instinct as a horse as a as a as a prey

animal is always there and it doesn't matter if they're 25 or 30 years old the horse is

always going to be a horse. And there are times when they, all of a sudden,

it's like, I have to get away. And so you need a knife to be able, and in my experience, which

your experience may vary, the number one reason that a horseman, horsewoman should carry a knife

is for cutting lead ropes and things in emergencies.
