football, basketball, and recruiting. I'm your host, Zach Shaw. Steve Lorenz will not be here. He just got

back from vacation. Plus, I'm out of pocket. He was covering the Big Ten tournament. So,

bear with me if there is rough audio in this. We are using the at home studio but anyway this is going to be

a little bit of a interesting podcast trying to catch up on all of the news all of the things that have

happened i was down in indianapolis when they canceled the big 10 tournament was at the press

conference for kevin, Big Ten Commissioner.

And then obviously, all of sports have been canceled since then.

So we'll talk about that, what it means, what, what, you know, my reaction is and kind of where things stand moving forward.

What maybe what's next for all of us?

Because, you know, obviously we're reporters, our listeners are mostly

fans, but it's all, we're all a part of this. So first, I'll tell the story of Indianapolis,

because I almost didn't go. Kind of, sometimes you've got to listen to yourself. I should

have listened to my gut instinct because when, to me, I think this all began when Rudy Gobert tested positive and the NBA postponed its season.

That, that to me was the precedent.

I had no, no feeling, no true feeling that the NCAA was going to continue on with the tournament as is.

Now, they could have postponed it.

I know that was something that was being discussed.

But, yeah, I mean, the precedent was set, in my opinion.

To me, I don't know how, as an NCAA institution, amateur athletics,

how they can have a pro basketball player in our country test positive for this, shrug their shoulders,

say, yeah, but no one in our institution has done it.
