Health writing most recently about, is it COVID, is it influenza? Is it something called

RSV? What is it? I speak to Italy. There's an outbreak. The news

in Europe says Italy and Spain hard hit, not yet in Britain. I speak to California. I speak to

New York. I speak to New York I speak to Canada is it COVID is it RSV is an influenza

Presuming that it is COVID which is dangerous the question is what COVID is it here again

Dr Miller a very good evening to you we've spoken of long COVID but that's not what I'm hearing from

anecdotes I don't have evidence the way you do. What's going on right now is

talk of COVID and yet we do not have defenses in. I do not see masks and you

report very very low vaccination rate.

So let's begin with vaccination.

I have my fifth or sixth vaccine.

Every time you tell me to get a vaccine I get one. So I am fully

defended but then again I'm on a farm in Connecticut and I'm not mixing the way I did

once upon a time in New York. Is the new vaccine a good one?

And can we count on that for those of us most vulnerable,

over 60?

The new booster, which became available in September of last year is good, but it's not perfect because the virus continues to mutate.

And so the booster was made with a spike protein

from a variant of the COVID virus called XBB 1.5, 1.15.
