Elliott private advisors. Kirk, what economic indicators have you had your eye on lately?

Well, good morning. And boy, so just this morning, I read a report how global stagflation

threat grows as the World Bank slashes its growth forecast.

I looked into this growth forecast based on that headline from Zero Hedge.

So in January, the global growth forecast was, let's see, it was 4.1% global growth for 2022.

Today, it's 2.9%.

So that's 1.2 percentage points below January's forecast.

So it's like 1.2% that's not that big of a deal.

But when you compare it to the 4.2%, that's literally like somewhere between 30 and 40% less than the growth rate in January.

So so stagflation, the global economic slowdown slash meltdown is actually intensifying.

So you had just said at the beginning how the kind of the economic gloom has hit a 50-year low.

But as I read through this article, the world economy is actually worse than the domestic economy.

So the world economy is expected to experience its sharpest deceleration following an initial recovery from global recession

in more than 80 years. So something wrong with that statement, not that it's got the worst
