your weekly dose of retro gaming and technology news with me Dan Wood. And me, Ravi Abbott. What's this in my hand? Oh, my God. And I've got it on launch day.

Well, I've just bought a Wii U, so I'm a bit behind. Now, obviously, we're all a retro gaming podcast. I'm going to get, there is some good kind of stuff on the Switch. It does appeal to retro gamers, I think. Okay, so we'll cover it a bit in the news. and I'll tell you why I got it and what I think of it so far

and also you've not got your hands on one yet have you?

No, no, I've not even touched one yet, Dan, so.

I might not not let you touch it actually but yeah we'll talk more about the switch obviously Nintendo what a legendary company whenever new console comes out it's worth talking about a thing from yeah it's pretty much everywhere at the moment exactly we've got it. Exactly. So that is coming up in just a bit.

I'll give you my initial thoughts on the Nintendo Switch.

Is it good?

Is it bad? Is it worth buying yet? What's it taste like? Yeah, we need to talk about that as well. People are like, what? And also, on the retro hour every week, now we work very hard to try and bring you veterans of the video game industry.

And this week, it's kind of a little bit different

to what we've kind of covered in the past. I mean, we're kind of moving into like the late 90s with this week's guest. And obviously, you know, we've covered FPSs in the past, like we had John Romero on, we covered Doom. This is kind of the next generation of FPSs after that. Counter-Strike. Yeah, and you know, we've got Minlay, Gooseman Minlay, who is basically
