In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about one of the best protein and fat sources that you could consume in a ketogenic diet plan, the wild-caught fish. It has amazing amounts of omega 3 fatty acids, complete protein, and is easy to digest. When doing the ketogenic diet, it is important to get quality fats and salmon is one way to get it but just make sure that it is always wild-caught. 


Chronic consumption of farm-raised salmon: 

• Increase visceral obesity 

• Insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes

Two Types of Good to Consume Salmon: 

• Atlantic – 95% of the Atlantic is farm-raised but make sure it is wild-caught
