We are still all in this together, my friends.

And in the two weeks since the last time you heard from us,

coronavirus cases in the US have crossed the two million mark with 120,000 deaths so far.

On the one hand, the death rate is decreasing overall.

But on the other hand, the infection rate is going back up in many places.

Oklahoma and Missouri, for example, had their biggest one-day increase in cases this past weekend.

It's a complicated situation, people.

The data seemed to point in five different directions at once, depending on where you look.

Are we caught on the crest of a massive new wave of infections?

Or are these just isolated peaks that will dissipate?

Or will we see a quarter million deaths or more by the end of the year?
