We are all in this together, my friends.

We are now inching distressingly close to two million cases of COVID-19 in the US.

As of today, June 4th, we stand at more than 1.8 million cases with roughly 107,000 deaths.

For the most part, we've been doing what we can to prevent the spread of this coronavirus by social distancing

and keeping away from large groups until last week.

Enormous gatherings have overshadowed any news of the pandemic.

I'm talking about the protests against racism and police violence that started in Minneapolis

and are now taking place in most major American cities.

Indeed, many cities around the world.

Thousands and thousands of people are marching together, kneeling together, and chanting together

with each other's faces right next to each other.
