Notre Dame got a commitment from a 26 corner out of Tennessee.

Chaston Smith, he is a four-star corner.

He committed this afternoon.

And we're going to talk about it, Brian, and we're going to kind of

roll through it like we always do when somebody commits to Notre Dame. And this is a nice

timely commitment, obviously prior to signing day for the 25 class. This is a 26 kid. I believe

this makes him the fourth commitment in the 26 class.

And I want to say the second defensive player, does that sound right?

Yes. Quarterback, receiver, linebacker, corner. Okay. Even though in the article I had written

that they had another cornerback named Noah Grubbs, but he's a

quarterback. Now that's the concussion talking right there. Yeah, that's right. That's right.

So, Brian, let's talk about Mr. Smith and kind of what he brings to the table. First, we'll talk about

the back story. He was in town for the Florida State game. That was the big recruiting weekend for Notre Dame. It was the night game. It was the big deal. And obviously, Notre Dame

took care of business on the field. And they're starting to take care of business off the field as

well with the guys that were in attendance that day. So he was there that day.
