We're talking about the commitment of 2027 cornerback Ace Alston.

That was announced a little bit before Pete Babock was press conference today, something we covered in part one of today's show.

But Ace Alston is the eighth commitment in the 2027 class.

He's a cornerback from Cincinnati, Ohio.

He's 511, 175 pounds, goes to Anderson High School.

Now, this is a highly rated guy, man.

I mean, he's a consensus top 200 recruit.

And then per Irish breakdown, he's a four-star caliber recruit, top 150 guy.

And so this is a really, really good player that that Notre Dame just brought in, Brian.

I'm sorry, I just went to open up another page because I wanted to pull up Aces commitment

article I wrote earlier.

And somebody responded to the tweet I put out about the show with a picture of Michael Scott holding a mug and says,

And I think that pretty much sums it up responding to our conversation from earlier.

You guys are really creative.

That's very well done.

But look, Ace Austin, this is an important commitment for Notre Dame. This is a player that Notre Dame obviously wanted. They've been recruiting him for a very long time. He was one of the guys. I always say, look at who Mike Mickens goes on, goes after early to really find out the guys that he sees her fit. And this is a young man that he sees as a fit at Notre Dame. He's from Cincinnati Anderson, which is one of the better schools in the state of Ohio. They've made it to the state championship game each of the last two years. Matter of fact, the only two games they've lost the last two years were the state championship team game to Avon. And this is a guy that they went after for a while and a player that they've wanted for a while

and he's a talented player there's a lot to like about ace but when you look at the back story it's
