Now a defense in a court of law may be indefensible in the court of public opinion.

Doesn't mean it's not a good defense though, but if you're the United States Soccer Federation,

you must believe it's worth losing in the court of public opinion to win in a

court of law and you got to be prepared to take the public heat.

here this is a remote episode of the State of the Union because of current events and everything that we are all going through right now.

I am coming to you from Los Angeles from my home, David Mossy, a friend, a patriot, a soccer savant is coming to you from his home and we will be discussing the state of, well, I guess the world and as it relates to the game that we all know and love, which is soccer, we all recognize that it means next to nothing compared to the real life situation that everybody is going through right now,

but this is a soccer podcast. It's what we talk about.

And just because we talk about soccer and what's going on today or what isn't going on today doesn't mean

that it's more significant than anything else that is going out there but maybe this is just

a small little respite. I hope everybody is being safe I hope everybody is doing

everything they can to keep themselves and everybody around them and on this planet safe and hopefully this two

shall pass and we will back to some semblance of normal normalcy as quickly as possible with the least amount of pain and

damage out there to you yours and everybody in the world.
