In a few weeks' time, the eyes of a worried world will turn to Glasgow.

COP26, the UN Climate Change Summit, delayed a year by COVID,

is perhaps the most important gathering since the Paris Agreement in 2015.

A summer of flash floods and wildfires across the globe has concentrated many minds.

We've got a moment of lots of dystopian stories

because it's been a cataclysmic few months in terms of extreme weather events.

What we need in Glasgow is a sense of this is a problem and we can do it

and we're going to do it.

The summit is just that, the culmination of a process,

much of the real work is happening now.

So what needs to take place in these last few weeks?
