Hi above the circus of mainstream news media spin, death-defying talk without a safety net.

This is High Wire. Thank you for joining us. Good morning, good afternoon, wherever you are around the world.

This is our second episode. We are up and running and having a really good time.

I want to start off today with a crazy article that sort of appeared on Facebook this week.

It came from the Journal of Pediatrics. Now, for those of you just joined the show for the first time and don't know who I am,

I made a movie called Vaxed about vaccine safety and specifically about a cover-up at the CDC.

We have a whistleblower at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention named Dr. William Thompson that's come forward

and said that they are committing scientific fraud and covering up the dangers of vaccines.

Our movie is specifically about the MMR vaccine as it relates to autism.

But anyway, that whole journey has taken me into a place I never expected.

I was a medical journalist. I produced one of the top medical talk shows in the world for over six years before I stumbled upon this story.

So I'm into celebrating the best that medicine has to offer the best doctors, surgeons, cutting edge techniques. I love science.

That's what this is really about. But sometimes science appears to be purchased. It's been manipulated much like we found out about the tobacco industry

when they were buying the science around tobacco and telling us it was safe.

It now appears that much of the same thing is taking place with vaccines. It's a hard reality. It's very difficult to wrap your head around.

It's upsetting because I think not only have people been lied to, the doctors we trust have been lied to.

And now they find themselves in a very difficult position.

But today, I want to talk a little bit about that because it's how the medical establishment, the mainstream media, the AMA and the pediatric association, how they're framing this discussion, I think points to some of the alarm we should all have as citizens in the United States of America.
