0:39.2	in the industry of content creation and this one might surprise you is you're not building an
0:43.4	email list. Any large content creator who has turned their content creation into a successful
0:48.4	business or is consistently earning an income without stressing from month to month about creating
0:53.6	more and more content, they will tell you that they have an email list or they'll tell you
0:58.3	that they wish they would have started building their email list sooner. And I know you might be
1:02.0	thinking, but Brock, I want to get into content creation. I want followers. Email is outdated.
1:07.6	Who even opens their email nowadays? I just want a bunch of followers who are watching and commenting
1:12.5	on my videos. And I hear you and that's awesome. And that's something we're going to talk about
1:16.6	in the rest of the mistakes that we're making. But you also need to be building an email list.
1:21.2	And the reason why is that you own your email list, but you don't own your followers.
1:26.8	And sure you could also replace the word email with contact or phone number list. You just need
1:31.6	a way to contact and get a hold of your followers offline. Because ultimately platforms get banned,
