I spoke to Daniel Hanen, the Conservative member of the European Parliament for Southeast England

and one of the intellectual architects of Brexit

about his lifelong friendship with Roger,

whom he first met at the age of 16.

Tell me how you first met Roger Scrutin.

I met Roger Scrutin. I met Roger at a very influential moment in my life.

I was very young. He got me at a fairly

malleable age. I was 16 and he had come to my school,

moreborough to do a talk to the philosophy society.
