Today, we are honored to welcome an esteemed panel of guests to discuss the issue of unmasking elder abuse with my co-host, Lori LaBay.

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Conscious Caregiving with L&L. Thank you all so much

for being with us today in the esteemed panel. I would like to start by asking you all to do a

short introduction of your background, credentials, experiences, and anything else you'd like to

share with our audiences. Paul Greenwood, I'd like to start with you. Sure. Thank you, Lance. Yeah, my name is

Paul Greenwood. I am a lawyer. I've been a lawyer for over 43 years initially in the UK,

where I was first a trainee barrister, then a solicitor. And then for 25 years, I was a career prosecutor with the San Diego

District Attorney's Office. What brings me to the table today is the fact that I was fortunate

enough for 22 of those 25 years to prosecute crimes committed against older adults that

California defines as anybody over the age of 65, ranging from physical

assaults, homicides, sexual assaults, rapes to neglect and elder financial exploitation.

Since I retired from that office, I've been very involved with AARP nationally to try to extend and share the information that I've learned in the

courtroom over 25 years with a wider audience.

Yes. Thank you for inviting me and let me join this panel. I've been registered nurse for 35 years and I've been in forensics,

forensic nurse since 2000. I've worked with local, state, federal, and military police

in those since 2000. And I've done over 500 forensic cases and elder abuse,
