Head coach Marsha Pancrette sits down with us and lets us know what they've got to do, where they're at,

what's happening before the Big Ten tournament starts in November.

Well, as promised, I'm joined by the head coach of the number eight team in the country,

and that is Marsha Pancretz.

And coach, first of all, you guys are six and four.

You're coming off a couple of wins over number 19 ranked Rutgers, Ball State this past weekend. Where are you guys at as you enter the month of October?

Well, you know, it's been a bumpy ride at the beginning of the season, but, you know, our record's six and four doesn't look right on paper, but boy, the teams we've played have all been in the top six in the country.

So we're right there.

We've had a little bit of unfortunate luck.

We've had five broken hands and some injuries there.

So, you know, I think we're starting to pull it together.

And I think we start heading down the stretch. We're going to be quite a dangerous team to, you know, try to win Big Ten.

Well, let me put it into a little context for our listeners. And I'm just looking at a couple of those games. Number five, Louisville, it was a one-score game. Penn State, number six in the

country, a one-score game. Maryland, number three in the country, a one score game. Maryland, number three

in the country, a one score game. And then you guys face Rutgers 19. You beat them four to one.
