John Chanson. Join now by a guy who's in his eighth year back here at the University of Michigan

as the head coach of the wrestling program. It's Sean Bormett. Coach, thanks for joining me,

and I know you guys are gearing up. How exciting is it getting ready for another season?

And how much are the guys just chomping at the bit to wrestle somebody that's unfamiliar with them?

Yeah, we're sort of at that point of the season.

We've been training hard.

We had an unbelievable summer, unbelievable preseason.

Teams dialed in.

I would say the team chemistry, the brotherhood of the team is as strong as it's ever been in these recent years.

It's, you know, transfer portal on NIL, sort of the challenge those things.

But it is an exciting team.

We're about two, three weeks out from some different competitions. So the excitement's

building. We got some ranking matches this Friday. So it's starting to get real chippy in the

room. I'm sure it is. We'll talk about those ranking matches in just a moment because we went

in depth a little bit more last year and it sounds like those get a little bit spicy. But just your expectations before you even get to any of those matches of your

squad this year. Really, we set the tone this summer. We had the three transfers came in early.
