Well, today we get a chance to meet one of the newest members of the Hall of Honor,

and that is Knox Cameron.

He was at Michigan from 2001 to 2004.

He is the only first team, All-American that Michigan soccer has ever had.

Big Ten Player of the Year as well in 2003.

He joins me next on Conquering Heroes.

Knox Cameron, All-American, the only first-team All-American that the Michigan men's soccer program

has ever had. And now, Hall of Honor member is joining me here today. And Knox, first of all, congratulations.

Thanks for joining me. And your initial thoughts when you got the phone call from Ward.

John, first of all, great to see you, man. Hope all as well. Yeah, this is an incredible, incredible

achievement, John.

And I will certainly say I was absolutely speechless when I got the call from Ward, right?

I actually was in the middle of a meeting and I sort of recognize the phone number as

most of them athletes do.

If you're getting a call from, you have them athletics, you get a sense for what that

number looks like. And I said, you know what? Let me pick me pick this thing up not sure what it is but let me pick the call

up and um you know it's hard to mistake ward's voice and so he gets on and i get fairly nervous and

he runs through his spiel and i was pretty much speechless since that point,

you know? So yeah, it's a lot of emotions, but man, it was, it was great to get the call from
