0:00.0 | An entitled jerk tries to scam my company by working the system and demanding a refund that we definitely could not give him. |
0:06.6 | But after being treated so poorly by this guy, I decided to get some revenge by reporting him for fraud and eventually getting him fired from his job. |
0:14.2 | Here's what happened. |
0:15.1 | So I used to work on the Retentions Department of an ISP back in the day. While many people called genuinely wanting to cancel their |

0:27.3 | had two different departments. I worked on Retentions One, where we did a lot of fixing bills |

0:36.7 | Retentions too was for customers who were in the process of porting their numbers, |

He had the highest phone plan the company offered, which was around 90 euros at the time for one line, but paid 30 euros per month |
1:34.1 | because he had discounts from both departments stacked on top of each other. His plan allowed him |
1:38.8 | to get what at the time was a super expensive phone for basically nothing at retentions too. He had gotten the super shiny |
1:45.2 | customer status and the super shiny customer service line, which usually meant a customer was averaging |
1:50.5 | a 300 euro monthly bill, despite the fact that he was only paying 30 euro. Now, he was also not |
1:56.2 | wrong about this bill being ridiculous. He'd visited several European countries, got a 600-year-bill, |
