It is not an emergency podcast, but there is an emergency with USC recruiting and this is going

to be an interesting episode.

There's a lot of good things to talk about, and there's some really bad stuff to talk about.

So I know where to start with this episode, but first I just want to check in with how you're doing.

I'm doing fine. I've been on the message boards all day trying to you know give

some people some answers and obviously we don't have answers to everything.

There are a lot of different facets to the recruiting process nowadays

and I know not everybody on the Parra Style has time to listen to us on this podcast. It's rather long. We go into detail, we get into the weeds. Sometimes we speculate a little bit. Sometimes we pontificate a little bit, but nevertheless, we try to make sense of things with the big picture of the USC football recruitment and USC football as a whole in terms of the

trajectory of the football program. So sometimes you know there's other people there's other outlets and there's a lot of hype and it seems like when things like this blow up everybody comes to the pair of style and they want to know what happened and it's like I understand people want to know what happened. And it's like, I understand people want accountability.

That's natural.

But in certain instances, certainly we can't give you accountability because we are not directly involved with the recruiting

process. We are there just to cover it as observers and so at times like this you just try to give people enough answers, create a dialogue, make it still

interesting for them to be again understand the process and understand that you know there are layers to this process now and the process is still ongoing we are in a very fluid era of college football and college football recruiting so probably having maybe one of these type of podcasts in July
