Welcome back to Composite Two-Star Recruitment. I am your one-star host,

Tenke Trevino, and as always, I'm joined by my podcasting partner in crime, Gerard Hurricane

Martinez, Gerard. There's a lot to talk about for this episode, and we have mentioned the last

couple episodes that there's not been a ton of stuff to talk about in a recruiting sense,

and I feel like the recruiting gods have smiled upon us for this week because there is plenty

to talk about, all piled in for this episode, but I got started with the actual real headliner

of the show. Gerard, you're no longer in the garage for today. There is no garage Martinez

for this episode. I think it might be the first time in this pod's history you haven't been

recording from the garage. You seem to think differently, but you're out of the garage, baby,

you're in the penthouse right now. Yeah, the mosquitoes won. Last week, the mosquitoes literally won.

They got me four times, twice, through my pant legs. I had off on. I was spraying

and raid. Them damn things. They are relentless. So I said, it's late. The tribe is winding down,

and because we're doing these later in the day, really in the evening, on a Wednesday,

things are quieter. Sometimes during the off season, we're doing them earlier in the afternoon,

and sometimes that's chaos around here. So we're going to try this out, and I don't have to worry about

the heat. Don't have to worry about cold. Don't have to worry about mosquitoes attacking me. I

don't know what it is in my system that they love, but man, they kill me. They destroy me.
