Joe Biden back in 1985 told America the truth about gun control measures.

Joe Biden admitted in 1985 that criminals will get firearms with or without gun control.

And he's right.

In fact, on July the 9th, 1985, during a debate over the Fire Arm Owners Protection Act,

the Senate Judiciary Committee, member Joe Biden, sided with the Second Amendment and

sided with freedom and argued that criminals can get guns with or without gun control, quote, unquote.

NBC News noted that the Judiciary Committee concurred with the Republican majority and

support of the Fire Arm Owners Protection Act. And it passed on the Senate floor by a massive margin of victory, 79 to 15.

Joe Biden voted for it, which NBC News described as a piece of legislation that allowed dealers to sell rifles, shotguns and ammunition through the mail.

And eventually the internet, quote unquote.

They noted that the FOPA also quote limited federal inspections of firearm dealers while allowing them to sell guns at gun shows, which helped them grow in size and popularity.

And it made it easier for private collectors to sell guns without obtaining a federal dealer's license, which would play a role in what later became known as the quote gun show loophole.

Biden, not only did he vote for this, but he actually defended your right to bear arms, making it clear that he believed that it is a absolute in this country and the Constitution grants you that right.

Now the congressional record for the Senate on July the 5th, 1985 actually quotes Biden describing this law as a quote balanced piece of legislation that protects the rights of private gun.

Owners while not infringing on law enforcement's ability to deal with those who misuse guns or violate laws.

He added during my 12 and a half years, a member of this body, I have never believed that additional gun controller federal registration of guns would reduce crime.

Let me read that again, because this is Joe Biden saying this back in 1985 before he was playing politics with your second amendment right and trying to seize power.

Quote, during my 12 and a half years, a member of this body referring to Congress, I have never believed that additional gun control or federal registration of guns would reduce crime.

I am convinced that a criminal who wants a firearm can get one through illegal, non-traceable, unregistered sources with or without gun control.

In other words, he is admitting that gun control will have no bearing on the bad guys getting the gun, so let's stop lying and acting like it somehow would.

So you have to ask yourself a question what changed, one thing, the left, the gun lobby, and their demands to take away your rights to your firearms.
